In the shiny day, a wise teacher walked and passed the struggle of life. She tried to reach a hard mandate ihn her hand

Mrs. Sinta was a new teacher. She came from Kediri . She was 20 years old. It was the first time she taught in her life. She taught in favorite Junior High School. The school was famous for the student’s naughtiness. Many teachers had tried to teach there  but no one was able to stay there until a week.

First day

SETTING 1 : ( shimmering horizon, dari atas )

In the classroom, the room was messy. The students were doing their own activities. Some of them were having a chat, some were lying down, some were reading books, and some were outside.

A headmaster was having a chat with a new a teacher and walking toward the class to introduce her to the students. When the headmaster came, the class was noisy.

Headmaster :   Good morning student. Ok my students! attention please…

    Now you have a new English teacher.

    (give place to Ms. Sinta to introduce herself)

Ms Sinta     :   Good morning my beloved students (spirit fully)

Students     :    Morning(Still busy with their activities)

Ms Sinta     :   Ok my students. I would like to introduce myself to you

     My name is Shinta Dewi and you may call me Ms Sinta

     I’m from Kediri , I’m an English teacher of junior high school.

Headmaster :   please I hope no one makes trouble and thank you

    (after introducing The headmaster left the class)

Ms Shinta   :   Ok now I want you to introduce yourself one by one.

Student 1    :   we are tired

Student 2    :   we are lazy

Student 3    :   That is not important. You can see our name in the present list

(Suddenly four students came in by conceited expiation and didn’t pay attention to Ms Shinta)

Ms Shinta   : Where have you been?

Student 4and 5     :  We have been from canteen miss…

Student 6and 7:  We have been from bathroom miss…

Student 7    : Who are you?

Ms. Shinta  : My name is Shinta. I’m teacher here now

                     Ok. any question?

Tya             :  Nothing , its not important, let’s continue.  We’re already lazy

Students     :  Yes miss…

Fitri            :  You should not say that. Please respect Ms. Shinta

Fitri’s                   :  yes Fitri is right

Students     :  HU…………….

                      HU………….....

(Fitri sat down with annoyed face)

Ms. Shinta  : Before we start our lesson

                     “Lets open our program by reading Alfatehah together”

                     Open your book page 5 about alphabets

(Giving material about alphabet)

(Bell rang. Students came out)

(kitaro-koi)

The sunlight was getting darker. Ms Shinta was going with pale, sad and listless face as if her sorrow was finished. But the spirit to teach in her heart was never gone. She could understand her student because it’s her first day. She was sure that her student would like her.

At the same time, Tya and her friends didn’t straight go home but they were going for walk.

Setting 2 : (simple plen welcome to my life)

In a shop, when walking, they saw a shop selling clothes and accessories. They were looking around the shop.

Tya’s 1       :   wow those clothes look nice

Tya’s 2       :   Let’s have a look

Tya             :   come on let’s go home

And while they were going home they met their other friends.

( berpapasan dan memberi salam)

Friends 1    :   hey how are you?

Tya and Tya’s      :   we are fine. How about you?

Friends       :   We are too.

Friends       :   What are you doing?

Tya             :   ach just go sightseeing

Tya’s          :   We gotta go…

                       Byeeeee …..

At night

Setting 3: ( kitaro caravansary and sherina jalan cahaya ) 

 In their own houses

Ms. Shinta with pale, listless, and sad face recalled today’s case.

Ms Shinta  :   ya Allah give strength, patience to your weak servant.

(titanic rose )

Fitri was in her house studying diligently

 Tya was at home watching TV and calling a friend. She felt lonely and call a servant to come

Tya             :   Bi, are mom and dad home yet?

Servant       :   not yet, miss. Maybe in a few minutes

Tya             :   Why are my parents never at home??

          (coming to the bedroom angrily )

Servant       :  Actually I feel sorry for Miss Tya. She is always lonely

The bell rang. Her parents got back from their office. The servant opened the door. Her parents sat on the sofa.

(doing activities like cleaning the table)

Both of Tya’s parents always spent their time to work all the time without realizing that Tya needs their love and affection. 

Mr. Andar  :  mom. I feel tired

Mrs. Andar :  So do I. Where is our daughter?

Mr. Andar  :  Why are you asking me?  We have just come home, please  ask bibi

Mrs. Andar :  Bi bibii…..

Servant       :  Yes Madam 

Mrs. Andar :  Where is Tya?

Servant       :  She is sleeping madam … but she looks angry.

Mrs. Andar :  Why?

Servant       : I do not know about it madam…

Mr. Andar  :  Typical teenager. We should go to bed now. Tomorrow we’ll have a meeting with our client.

Mrs. Andar : ok you can go now

Mr and Mrs. Andar masuk ke kamar tidur.

PAGI HARI

Setting 4: ( kitaro-vocals by john anderson )

Ø SCHOOL

The morning when it looked beautiful, fogs on the leaves was swinging while shining because of sunlight; birds were singing beautifully adoring busy people with their activities. Ms Sinta was showing happy face as if her first bad experience was gone trough her shining smile. She was walking like a stick that is ready to hold a big wave. One day while Ms. Sinta was teaching, something that made her cry happened.

Ms Shinta   : Good morning my beloved students!!

( murid diam tidak memperhatikan)

                   Why are you silent???

Tya             : Miss… we are bored with English and we are bored with you, maybe you can go out now!!

(seketika itu wajah MS.Shinta kelabu meneteskan air mata)

Ms. Shinta  : I am sorry .Ms. Shinta can’t give the best for you all and I am sorry if I have mistakes that I make and I ask you once again if my teaching make you bored but I ask you don’t hate English are another studies because all studies will be useful for you all

Seketika itu Ms Shinta was crying in the front of class and making the students open up their heart felt guilty.

Ms Shinta   : OK that’s all for today

                     Good morning

(Ms Shinta keluar , meninggal kan kelas … tak berapa lama kemudian kepala sekolah masuk kelas dan memberi nasehat)

Headmaster : Good morning.

Students     : Good morning….

Headmaster          : Students what hapend to mis Shinta        ???

                   Why is Ms Shinta crying??

                   You have spent 2 weeks more and les with Ms Shinta. Haven’t you been able to accept her sincerer. And all of you need to know, Ms Shinta always takes care and loves you even thought every one thinks that you are the naughtiest class .She always believes that you are good students. She always defends you. Please respect your teacher.

(And then, the headmaster got out from class and the students were silent and dreaming, as if thinking about what Ms. Sinta and headmaster said)   

Setting 5 ( laskar pelangi )

School

Ms Shinta continued teaching like she did. Since then, her students had good manners. Like today she always showed her spirit and happy face. She was always spirit and never taught about that bad day, but the situation of the class was still quiet because they still had something hidden inside their hearths they want to apologize to her.

( para siswa menunjukkan sikap yang hangat  suasana kelas semakin menyenangkandan hari haripun belalu dengan indah)

Ms Shinta   :  good morning

Students     :  good morning

Ms Shinta   :  How are you today??

Students     :  very well thank you

One of stud : How are you miss?

Ms shinta    : Oh … I’m fine

(Ms Shinta terkejut baru pertama kali ditanya kabar oleh muridnya)

Student       : Mis Tya wants to say something

Ms Shinta   : Yes what do you want to say Tya?

Tya             : Miss we are so sorry. Please forgive us Miss please!!

(Tya menghampiri miss Shinta dan meminta maaf memeluk dengan erat dan kemudian lainya mengikuti. Miss shinta terharu karena akhirnya ia akhirnya berhasil mendekati murid_muridnya)

Miss Shinta : yes honey.. Please forgive me also if I have some mistakes to you

                   OK now let’s continue our lesson

                   Get up

Students     : Get up

Ms Shinta   : Stand in line

Students     : Stand in line

Ms Shinta   : ok let sing the song get up

Students     : (singing)

Ms Shinta   : ok now. Our time is up

                   Let’s close our program together

Students     : Let’s close our program by praying on our own way

(Ms Shinta pulang dengan bahagia karean mereka menjadi dekat)

Setting 6 : ( caravansary and saat terakhir )

Ø School

Day after day times passed by , harmony that was never guessed covers every sides  of the room. As if it brought tears. It saw that. It has been 28 day passing with inseparable spirit. Finally, this the day that no one wants.

Ms Shinta   : Good morning …My beloved students..

Students     : Good morning…. My beloved teacher…

Ms Shinta   : Are you ready for studying?

Students     :  We are ready for studying my beloved teacher!!!

Ms Shinta   : Now we are going to days and spelling!!

                   One, two, Three, GO

It’s all over we can go home now, before going home, I’m going to talk to you all that I want to get back because my job is finished. Please forgive me when I have mistakes for you all and I hope,,,, you all can keep your spirit and to be good students.

Students     : teacher.. teacher.. Please don’t leave us Ms.. I don’t want you to leave us.

Ms Shinta   : actually I don’t wan to leave you all my students…, but it’s life, I can not do anything…, we must be able to accept it all, and I hope we can take behinde it…., SMILE PLEASE!!!!

Every side of the room felt empty; just sob as a song that was welcoming sadness came in the bottom of bright heart.
